RAIL TRAVEL
Stockholm may seem like a destination too far away to reach conveniently and cost effectively by train but recent developments in Sweden's train network are opening up rail travel as a real alternative to air travel. In addition, the train is a great way to see the countryside change as you head north as well as reducing your environmental impact.
The new direct sleeper train from Hamburg to Stockholm opens up many possibilities. UK travellers can reach Hamburg using the Eurostar to Brussels and onward train to Hamburg.
